Thermal Data Capture With Drones

The trainee can perform a thermal data capture flight which complies with the necessary flight procedures and knows how to correctly process the flight capture data in the necessary software into a final report for the customer.

Optimization problems in energy systems

This course provides an introduction to various optimization problems typically encountered in energy systems and markets. You will learn how to mathematically formulate these problems, implement them in general programming languages, and use approximation and relaxation techniques to improve computational performance. What you will learn:

Data science for energy engineers: the case of demand-side management. Learn how to analyze, predict and optimize energy demand using Python

The aim of this course is to introduce a number of widely used techniques in the fields of machine learning, data science and optimization, focusing particularly on their application in the energy sector. In addition to covering the theory behind these techniques, the course also provides a hands-on introduction to several concrete use cases in the field [...].

Smart Grid Lab

In the Smart Grid Lab, trainees work with production, transmission, consumption and storage of energy on a unique, operational and compact power grid. For this purpose, they can smartly connect up to fourteen didactic panels via the control center, simulating a "smart grid. Here, energy supply and demand are centrally coordinated.

Smart Energy Academy

Our annual classic is back on the program in 2022! The Smart Energy Academy is a three-day course that takes you through our energy sector roadmaps, changing roles and financing challenges. This year, the last day of the academy gets a special twist as the course day flows into the high-level event Energy [...].
