BA4 - Alerted

Working in the vicinity of electrical installations (whether live or not) and performing certain tasks can pose real risks. This training module helps workers become more aware of electrical risks.

Optimization problems in energy systems

This course provides an introduction to various optimization problems typically encountered in energy systems and markets. You will learn how to mathematically formulate these problems, implement them in general programming languages, and use approximation and relaxation techniques to improve computational performance. What you will learn:

Smart Grid Lab

In the Smart Grid Lab, trainees work with production, transmission, consumption and storage of energy on a unique, operational and compact power grid. For this purpose, they can smartly connect up to fourteen didactic panels via the control center, simulating a "smart grid. Here, energy supply and demand are centrally coordinated.
