Whether it is a single-family home or an office complex, the demand for comfort and flexibility for managing air conditioning, lighting and access control is increasing. At the same time, the more efficient use of energy is becoming increasingly important. More comfort and safety coupled with lower energy consumption is only possible with intelligent control and monitoring systems. The disadvantage, however, is the additional cabling from the sensors and actuators to the control and monitoring centers. This massive wiring translates into higher design and installation costs, increased risk of fire, in short, rising costs.
